Fiza Ali Faces Backlash After Old Video Surfaces Admitting to Mixing Drugs in Food for Staff

Lahore: Pakistani model and television host **Fiza Ali** has come under fire after an old interview clip resurfaced online, in which she admitted to adding **sedatives and medicines** to food served to her show’s staff during a dispute.
The two-year-old video, now going viral on social media, shows Fiza Ali recalling an incident from her showbiz career. She said that during a TV show, she got upset over something said through the talk-back system and had an argument with her team.
According to her, the team insisted she cook *paye* (a traditional Pakistani dish), which she agreed to make in anger. “While cooking, I added whatever medicines I found at home — Xanax, cough syrup, multivitamins, Panadol — and even bought more when they weren’t enough,” Fiza said in the interview. “The next day, I served those *paye* to my team and staff but didn’t eat them myself.”
Fiza added that later, one of her team members called to inform her that several people had fallen ill after eating the food, with some even being placed on oxygen. “My ex-husband was also told I could face a police case,” she recalled, adding that “nothing serious happened — they were just sleepy and recovered after resting.”
The resurfaced clip has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with users calling her actions **“criminal”** and demanding legal action. Many have criticized Fiza Ali for treating the incident lightly and sharing it in a joking manner.
