India Faced Global Humiliation After Its First Adventure, Will Suffer Worse if It Acts Again: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Defence Minister **Khawaja Asif** has warned India against any aggressive action, saying that **New Delhi faced global humiliation after its previous misadventure** and would face **even greater disgrace if it attempts such moves again**.
Speaking to the media outside Parliament, Khawaja Asif said, *“When India carried out its previous adventure, it was humiliated across the world and its so-called honour was buried in dust. If it tries again, the outcome will be even worse.”*
He added that **Pakistan is fully prepared** to respond to any Indian plan, saying, *“Whatever India plans, we will respond just as we did before — and we will once again succeed.”*
The defence minister remarked that India’s recent posture appears to be **politically motivated**, driven by **domestic electoral considerations and internal politics**.
Commenting on the Middle East situation, Khawaja Asif expressed hope that the **sacrifices of Palestinians in Gaza will not go in vain**, saying that the **peace efforts have brought a ray of hope** to the region.
He stated, *“Some matters are still being finalized, but once the process is complete, the establishment of a free and independent State of Palestine will become a reality.”*
Khawaja Asif emphasized that the **international community has a moral duty** to stand with the Palestinian people and support their right to statehood. He added, *“People around the world have come out in streets, markets, and cities for Palestine — a clear testimony that the world believes a free Palestine must be established.”*
