CM Gandapur Orders Full Security for ANP Chief Aimal Wali Khan

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister **Ali Amin Gandapur** has directed authorities to ensure **full security** for **Awami National Party (ANP)** President **Aimal Wali Khan**.
According to Geo News, the KP Chief Minister’s spokesperson **Faraz Mughal** said that the decision to withdraw Aimal Wali Khan’s security was made by the **federal government**, but CM Gandapur has instructed the **Inspector General of Police (IGP)** to **maintain his security under all circumstances**.
The spokesperson added that Aimal Wali Khan’s family had been targeted in the past, and reducing security was **not an option**. “There can be no compromise on the protection of human life,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi** also voiced opposition to the withdrawal of Aimal Wali Khan’s security, saying, “If political leaders face threats, they must be provided with protection.”
It is worth mentioning that a day earlier, Aimal Wali Khan had claimed that the **federal government withdrew security** for him and his family. He warned that if any harm came to him or his family, the **federal authorities would be held responsible**.
