Pakistan’s Himalayan Pink Salt Wins Global Recognition in Belgium
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Himalayan pink salt has earned international acclaim after winning a prominent award at the Global Innovation Awards held in Belgium.
According to details, a Brazilian soap made with Pakistani Himalayan salt received the prestigious honor during the Women’s AgriTech Summit, where Pakistan’s natural salt was celebrated worldwide.
Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan highlighted that the purity and mineral-rich qualities of pink salt are enhancing Pakistan’s standing in the global market. *“Himalayan pink salt is Pakistan’s natural treasure, and winning this award in Belgium is proof of Pakistan’s growing significance in international trade,”* he remarked.
He further emphasized that the collaboration between Pakistan and Brazil is producing world-class products, while also showcasing the importance of Pakistan’s natural resources to global investors.
Meanwhile, Trade Advisor Dr. Babar Chauhan described the fusion of Himalayan salt with Brazilian biodiversity as a “global success.” The Brazilian Embassy also noted that the award will further strengthen trade ties between Pakistan and Brazil.
