Lahore Court Reserves Verdict on Bail Plea of YouTuber Ducky Bhai

Lahore:A district and sessions court in Lahore has reserved its verdict on the bail application of popular Pakistani YouTuber **Saqib ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai**, after hearing arguments from both sides.

During the hearing, the prosecution argued that the accused was directly involved in promoting **illegal online betting and forex trading applications**, including “Binomo,” “Bet 365,” and “39 Game.” The special prosecutor told the court that the **SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan)** has never registered any such apps, yet Ducky Bhai encouraged the public to invest in them through his YouTube videos.

The prosecutor further claimed that the YouTuber’s bank accounts held **PKR 160 million and PKR 50 million**, the sources of which remain unexplained, raising suspicions that the funds might have links to **terror financing or other unlawful activities**.

When questioned by the court, an NCCIA (National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency) representative confirmed that **Binomo has been blocked in Pakistan**, though several other illegal apps are still operational.

The prosecutor also revealed that while Ducky Bhai’s mobile phones are in custody, investigators have been unable to bypass the **face lock security** despite a 22-day remand period. The court, noting this, questioned the progress of the investigation.

The case against Ducky Bhai was registered after complaints that his **video promotions of unregulated gambling and forex apps** led many citizens to lose their savings. Authorities claim he was working as a **country manager for Binomo in Pakistan without official approval**.

Ducky Bhai, who enjoys millions of subscribers for his comedy skits and family vlogs, now faces serious allegations that could have long-term legal and financial consequences.
