Javeria Saud Faces Criticism After Laughing at Caller’s Question in Ramadan Transmission

**Islamabad:** Pakistani actress and television host Javeria Saud has come under heavy criticism on social media following a viral clip from her Ramadan transmission.
In the clip, a caller told the host that he was unable to get married due to a persistent itching issue. He said that whenever a family came to see him for a marriage proposal, he would start scratching uncontrollably, which led to proposals being called off. In response, Javeria Saud was seen laughing repeatedly, a reaction that many viewers found inappropriate.
Social media users expressed strong disapproval. One user, Hassan Ali, questioned, “What are we being made to watch in a Ramadan transmission?” Another commented that it was surprising to see serious health concerns being raised on a Ramadan show instead of consulting a doctor directly. The user alleged that such questions are intentionally aired to boost ratings and attract attention.

Another user, Zahida Rao, sarcastically remarked that Ramadan transmissions now seem focused on discussing itching remedies.
Several users also questioned whether such behavior has become common in Ramadan programs and whether controversial moments are being created deliberately to go viral. Some suggested that viewers should boycott such transmissions to encourage producers to maintain ethical standards and seriousness in religious programming.
