JWP Condemns Quetta Suicide Attack, Blames ‘Fake Government’ for Rising Insecurity in Balochistan

Quetta:The **Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP)** has strongly condemned Tuesday’s suicide bombing in Quetta, terming it a **cowardly and inhumane act** that deliberately targeted innocent lives.
In a statement issued by the party’s central spokesperson, the JWP said the incident was “deeply tragic, condemnable, and an attack on humanity.”
The spokesperson criticized what he called a **“Form-47 imposed government”**, claiming that ever since this administration took control, the problems of Balochistan have been increasing. He said the rulers’ promises of peace and development remain **mere rhetoric**, while the ground reality shows worsening insecurity.
“Despite the spending of Rs. 85 billion, the people of Balochistan neither feel safe in their homes nor on the highways. When someone leaves their house, they are unsure whether they will return alive,” the statement read.
The JWP maintained that **true peace and stability in Balochistan cannot be achieved** until the province is governed by **genuine, popularly elected representatives**. The spokesperson urged the authorities to **end reliance on self-serving groups** and transfer power to the real representatives of the people so that peace can be restored and prosperity ensured.
