Maryam Nawaz Says Murree Has Never Been Cleaner in Her Lifetime

Murree: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed delight over the improved cleanliness and order in Murree, saying she had never seen the hill station so clean before.
Speaking at a ceremony, she said, *“When Nawaz Sharif visits Murree, he always appreciates me. Entering Murree from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa feels like crossing into another country—everything here is organized, even the coconut water stalls and markets. We are fulfilling promises to Murree that were never even made.”*
Maryam Nawaz vowed strict action against crimes targeting women, declaring that her government would make Punjab safer for women. She added that unlike empty announcements, the PML-N government under Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, and herself had delivered beyond its commitments.
Highlighting healthcare achievements, she said, *“In just one year, Punjab has established hospitals providing treatment that is unavailable anywhere else in Pakistan.”*
The Chief Minister also announced the launch of a **Rawalpindi-Murree train service** soon, along with **15 new green buses** for Murree. Students, senior citizens, women, and persons with disabilities will be able to travel free of charge on the buses.
Maryam Nawaz concluded that the government’s performance proved its commitment: *“We not only fulfilled our promises but went beyond them, by the grace of Allah.”*
