Last Day to Avail 5% Discount on Property Tax Payments in Punjab

Islamabad: Today marks the final opportunity for taxpayers to avail a **5% discount** on property tax payments for the fiscal year 2025, with the deadline set for **September 30**.

According to the Punjab Excise and Taxation Department, special arrangements have been made to facilitate taxpayers, with excise offices and designated bank counters remaining open until **9 PM** to ensure timely payments.

Director General Excise and Taxation Punjab, **Muhammad Umar Sher Chattha**, urged citizens to pay their dues before the deadline to benefit from the rebate, stressing that timely tax collection plays a vital role in the province’s development and welfare projects.

He further emphasized that prompt tax payment reflects responsible citizenship and contributes directly to public welfare initiatives.
