Karachi Likely to Receive Thunderstorms on Tuesday, Says Met Office

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in Karachi on Tuesday.
According to the Early Warning Centre of the PMD, partly cloudy conditions are expected on September 30, with chances of rain and thunderstorms at a few locations in the city.
The weather office further stated that from September 29 to 30, districts including Umerkot, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad, Sujawal, Jamshoro, and Matiari are also likely to receive rainfall.
Meanwhile, most parts of Sindh are expected to remain hot and humid. Due to the suspension of sea breeze and northwesterly winds, Karachi experienced another hot and humid day on Sunday.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 37.6°C, showing an increase of 2.1°C compared to the previous day, while humidity levels stood at 55 percent.
