JUI-F Balochistan Chief Condemns Israeli Aggression, Backs Pakistan-Saudi Defense Pact

Quetta:Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Balochistan chief **Senator Maulana Abdul Wassey** has strongly condemned Israeli atrocities in Palestine and called for the **unity of the Muslim Ummah** at the global level to counter ongoing aggression. Addressing a press conference in Quetta, he said Israel has not only intensified its brutal actions in Palestine but also carried out attacks on **Iran and Qatar**, heightening regional instability.

Maulana Abdul Wassey voiced **full support for the recent Pakistan-Saudi Arabia defense agreement**, saying that the protection of the **Haramain Sharifain** (the two holy mosques) is a key part of JUI-F’s manifesto. He stressed that the alliance between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has caused **concern in the U.S. and Israel**, and urged leaders of other Muslim nations to join this pact. He also expressed gratitude to those countries that have officially recognized Palestine as a state.

Highlighting domestic concerns, the JUI-F leader demanded that the government improve the **law and order situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**, linking the surge in terrorism to **external conspiracies**.

He announced that the party will hold the **Mufti Mehmood Conference** in **Qila Saifullah on October 14**, followed by another rally in **Khusdhar**, with **Maulana Asad Mehmood** as the chief guest.

On provincial issues, Maulana Abdul Wassey criticized the recently passed **Mines and Minerals Act**, saying it has created **widespread disappointment among citizens**. He confirmed that JUI-F has opposed the act at every forum and thanked the Balochistan Chief Minister for inviting all political parties to bring amendments. He revealed that a meeting chaired by the opposition leader had already drafted **joint proposals**, which will soon be presented to the government.

The JUI-F leader also hinted at conditional participation in the upcoming **NFC Award meetings**, stating the party will attend only under specific terms.
