Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti Unveils First Youth Policy, Vows Equal Opportunities for Youth and Women

Quetta:Chief Minister of Balochistan **Mir Sarfraz Bugti** has said that the province’s youth lack no talent but have long suffered from a lack of opportunities. To address this, his government has introduced **Balochistan’s first-ever Youth Policy** aimed at providing young people with quality education, skill development, and employment opportunities.

Speaking to students of various educational institutions on Monday, the CM emphasized that **youth are the future of the province** and must be safeguarded from negative propaganda, particularly on social media. He urged the younger generation to distinguish between truth and falsehood and to expose the designs of anti-state elements.

Highlighting steps for women’s empowerment, Bugti said that for the first time, the province has established a **Women Endowment Fund** to ensure their economic stability. He added that women have also been appointed to key administrative positions, recognizing their crucial role in social development.

The CM further said that unnecessary posts in government departments are being eliminated, while **comprehensive reforms in education and health** are underway. In just one year, **3,200 inactive schools have been reactivated**, with the target of ensuring that no school remains inactive by December this year. Additionally, **16,000 teachers have been recruited on merit**.

Addressing grievances, Bugti acknowledged that **imbalanced development is a national issue**, not just limited to Balochistan. However, he stressed that taking up arms against the state in the name of deprivation is unacceptable. “Our government is always ready for dialogue, but those with innocent blood on their hands will not escape the law,” he asserted.

The CM also noted that his government has fulfilled its promise of ensuring that **no highway in Balochistan remains blocked**, paving the way for connectivity and progress.

“Our vision is to build a society where the youth progress through education, skills, and jobs, and where women’s inclusion leads Balochistan towards new milestones of development and stability,” Bugti concluded.
