CM Bugti Vows to Make Balochistan Civil Service Academy a Premier Training Institution of Pakistan

Quetta – Balochistan Chief Minister **Mir Sarfraz Bugti** has pledged to transform the **Balochistan Civil Service Academy** into one of Pakistan’s most distinguished and high-standard training institutions, attracting officers from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and beyond.

Addressing trainee **Assistant Commissioners and Section Officers** at the academy on Monday, CM Bugti congratulated them for being selected on merit and receiving training in their home province. He likened the academy’s journey to a “small sapling that has now grown into a strong tree,” adding that it will soon become a symbol of pride for officers nationwide.

He emphasized that after completing their training, officers must view themselves not only as administrators but as **servants and leaders of the people**, working with integrity and dedication for Pakistan, especially Balochistan.

“You must serve the ordinary citizen — the one who shivers in the winter cold and suffers under the summer heat. True success lies in public service, and society always remembers officers who perform remarkable and lasting work,” the CM said.

CM Bugti assured full resource allocation for the academy’s development, promising that its needs would be met just like those of other sectors. He said his vision was for the academy to reach such a high standard that officers from all provinces would consider it an honor to train there.

Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated the academy’s **new academic and administrative block**.

The ceremony was attended by Parliamentary Secretary for S\&GAD **Abdul Majeed Badini**, Chief Secretary **Shakeel Qadir Khan**, S\&GAD Secretary **Syed Faisal Agha**, Academy DG **Dr. Abdul Hafeez Jamali**, senior officials, and retired officers.
