Gold Price Surges on First Business Day of the Week in Pakistan

Karachi – On the first business day of the week, **Monday, September 21**, gold prices in Pakistan’s local bullion markets witnessed a sharp increase. According to the **All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association**, one tola of gold rose by **Rs1,700**, trading at **Rs390,900**.
The association stated that these rates would remain valid until 3:00 PM, after which updated prices will be released.
Meanwhile, the price of **10 grams of gold** climbed by **Rs1,458**, reaching **Rs334,619**.
Silver also registered gains, with the price per tola increasing by **Rs114** to **Rs4,532**, while 10 grams of silver went up by **Rs98**, settling at **Rs3,885**.
On the global front, gold prices followed the same upward trend, with **an ounce of gold rising by \$17**, reaching **\$3,685**.
