Political Stability Linked to Dialogue with Imran Khan: Fawad Chaudhry

Rawalpindi: Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that political stability in Pakistan can only be achieved through dialogue with PTI founder Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media after the hearing of the GHQ attack case, Chaudhry criticized restrictions placed on Imran Khan’s trial proceedings, saying: *“Why is there so much fear of his picture being leaked? All prisoners are given the right to appear in court, so why not him?”*

He stressed that engaging with Imran Khan is crucial for stability, adding that Pakistan has a unique opportunity to strengthen its ties with Arab countries at a time when global power balances are shifting.

Fawad Chaudhry also said India is becoming increasingly isolated on the world stage and reiterated that any trial against Imran Khan should be open and transparent. *“If we are given political space, we can do politics,”* he asserted.

At the same time, he admitted that PTI currently lacks a clear political strategy.
