Sikh Community Protests in Canada, Exposes India’s Secret Networks Globally

Canada: The Sikh community held a major protest in Canada, accusing India of running covert networks worldwide to target Sikh leaders and suppress the Khalistan movement.

According to Khalistan activists, India has been orchestrating global conspiracies to assassinate Sikh leaders under the Hindutva-driven policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who they claim is attempting to crush the Khalistan struggle through brutality and bloodshed.

On social media platform X, the pro-Khalistan group *Sikhs for Justice* announced a protest outside the Indian Consulate in Vancouver, asserting that while India brands the Khalistan movement as “terrorism,” the real terrorism is being carried out by Indian officials in New Delhi and its foreign missions.

The group has issued a media advisory, declaring the demonstration as a “historic protest.” The advisory also accused the Indian consulate of continuing surveillance and covert operations against pro-Khalistan activists abroad.

The issue gained international attention in September 2023, when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau revealed that Indian agents were being investigated for their alleged role in the assassination of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar. In light of security threats, Canadian police have also offered protection to eyewitness Inderjit Singh Gosal.

Sikh leaders stated that Nijjar’s blood has become a rallying cry for Sikh resistance, vowing that their global struggle for justice will continue until accountability is ensured. They accused India of turning its embassies into “secret command centers” to target Sikhs overseas, pointing to similar attacks on Sikh leaders in the U.S. and U.K. as part of India’s state-sponsored campaign.

Protesters declared that the Khalistan movement has now transformed into an international struggle against Modi’s oppression and aggression.
