Girls Secure Top Three Positions in Rawalpindi Board Intermediate Results 2025

RAWALPINDI: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi announced the results of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2025, with female students clinching all top three positions and setting a record success rate.

Areej Shafqat Hayat of Punjab College for Women, Talagang, secured first position with 1,148 marks. Her classmate Ayesha Mushtaq stood second with 1,139 marks, while Iman Fatima of Royal College of Sciences for Girls, Chakwal, claimed third place with 1,138 marks.

According to the board, the overall pass percentage stood at 54.12%. Female students outperformed male candidates with a 62.4% success rate compared to just 39.87% among boys.

A prize distribution ceremony for the position holders was held at Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi attended as chief guest, along with Punjab Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture Shazia Rizwan, members of the provincial assembly, and education department officials.

The position holders were presented a guard of honor, while medals and awards were distributed to outstanding students by Hanif Abbasi.
