Light Rain, Drizzle Forecast for Karachi Over Next Three Days; Sea Breeze Restored
KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department’s Early Warning Centre has forecast light rain and drizzle in Karachi for the next three days, with sea breezes expected to remain active.
According to the report, the city will experience partly cloudy and humid weather during this period, with temperatures ranging between 31°C and 33°C. Different parts of Karachi may receive light showers or drizzle.
The Met Office further stated that most districts of Sindh are likely to witness hot and humid conditions, though light rain or drizzle may occur in some areas along the eastern coastal belt.
Meanwhile, flood conditions persist in the Indus River. At Guddu Barrage, a high flood level has been recorded with a water flow of 544,658 cusecs. At Sukkur Barrage, a medium-level flood is ongoing with a discharge of 470,580 cusecs, while Kotri Barrage is experiencing a low-level flood with water levels at 262,509 cusecs.
