Karachi Inter-Board Announces Arts Regular Group Results

KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the annual Intermediate Arts Regular Group examinations for the year 2025.
Chairman of the Karachi Inter-Board, Faqeer Muhammad Lakho, revealed the results and congratulated the top performers. Hans Raj, a student from IDA RIEU Higher Secondary School for Blind and Deaf, secured the first position with 953 marks out of 1100, earning an A1 grade. Hans Raj, son of Mukesh Kumar, achieved this distinction under roll number 938852.
In second place was Inshrah bint Muhammad Ameen from Iqra Hifaz Girls Science College Block B North Nazimabad, with 936 marks and an A1 grade, under roll number 950006. Third place went to Syeda Khazira Amir bint Syed Razaq Amir, also from the same college, with 934 marks and an A1 grade, under roll number 950012.
Exam Controller Zarina Rashid shared that a total of 10,055 candidates had registered for the Arts Regular Group exams. Out of these, 9,488 students appeared for the exams, and 3,876 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 40.85%.
The results also revealed that 20 candidates received A1 grades, 236 secured A grades, 793 got B grades, 1,353 students earned C grades, 1,328 received D grades, and 146 students passed with E grades. Two candidates achieved a passing grade.

Chairman Faqeer Muhammad Lakho congratulated the successful students and announced that the Karachi Inter-Board would be holding a special ceremony to honor the position holders from various groups of the 2025 examinations. Merit certificates have already been awarded to the top performers of the Science Pre-Engineering Group, and similar ceremonies for other groups will be held soon, with students, parents, and media invited to attend.
