4 Terrorists Killed in Joint CTD, Intelligence Operation in Balochistan’s Pishin District

Pishin: In a successful joint operation by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and intelligence agencies, four key terrorists affiliated with the banned group “Fitna Al-Khawarij” were killed in the Yaro area of Pishin district, Balochistan.
According to the CTD spokesperson, the operation was conducted based on credible intelligence. During the raid, a fierce exchange of gunfire took place between the security forces and the terrorists.
The spokesperson revealed that the slain terrorists were involved in several high-profile attacks, including the assault on a Frontier Corps (FC) truck on Chaman Road, the targeted killing of a Levies officer in Pishin, and attacks on police personnel. They were also wanted in multiple terrorism-related cases across the province.
Security forces recovered a significant cache of weapons and explosives from the scene, which included two Kalashnikov rifles, two 9mm pistols, two hand grenades, one detonator, prima cord, and other explosive materials. These items were allegedly intended for future terrorist attacks.
The operation was part of ongoing efforts to restore peace and security in Balochistan. The bodies of the deceased terrorists have been moved to a hospital for post-mortem, and their identification is currently underway.
Law enforcement agencies have also launched a search operation in the surrounding area to apprehend any possible accomplices. The CTD reiterated its commitment to continue such actions until terrorism is eradicated from the province.
The spokesperson appealed to the public to report any suspicious activities immediately to the authorities to help maintain peace in the region.
