Gold Prices Drop in International and Local Markets After Continuous Surge

Karachi: After weeks of consistent increases, gold prices have finally declined in both international and local markets.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold dropped by \$36 per ounce, bringing the new rate to \$3,618 per ounce.

Similarly, in Pakistan’s local sarafa (bullion) markets, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs. 4,100, setting the new price at Rs. 384,000 per tola. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined by Rs. 3,515, reaching Rs. 329,218.

The recent drop comes after a sustained upward trend in gold prices observed over the past few weeks.
