Gold Prices Surge to Record Highs in Global and Local Markets

Karachi: Gold prices have reached historic highs as both international and domestic markets continue to see sharp increases for the second consecutive day.
In the international bullion market on Tuesday, the price of gold rose by \$41 per ounce, pushing it to a record high of \$3,654.
Similarly, in Pakistan’s local markets, the price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs4,100 per tola, reaching an all-time high of Rs388,100.
The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs3,514, climbing to a new peak of Rs332,733.
The continuous rise reflects global trends and heightened demand, putting further pressure on local consumers already grappling with inflation.
