105 Schools Closed in Muzaffargarh Amid Flood Threat from River Chenab

Muzaffargarh:Authorities have announced the closure of **105 schools** across the district due to the looming threat of floods caused by rising water levels in the **Chenab River**.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, at least **89 government schools are at risk** of being affected by potential flooding. As a precautionary measure, **105 government schools will remain closed until September 6**.
He further stated that **16 schools have been designated as flood relief camps**, while all other government schools are scheduled to reopen from **September 1**.
The administration has urged residents to remain cautious as several areas are feared to be impacted by the possible flooding.
