Case Against Saeed Ghani’s Brother Withdrawn, All Accused Released

Karachi:In the case of assaulting a government official, **Farhan Ghani**, brother of Sindh Local Government Minister **Saeed Ghani**, along with two other accused, has been released from the police station.
According to sources, **Advocate Waqar Alam Abbasi**, the lawyer representing Farhan Ghani, confirmed the release of all three men. The complainant, **Hafiz Sohail Ahmed Jadoon**, withdrew the case and also submitted a written application to the investigating officer.
Earlier, a case had been registered at **Ferozabad Police Station** against Farhan Ghani, who is also Chairman of **Chanesar Town**, along with several others, after a video of the altercation with a government official surfaced.
Jadoon alleged that while he was supervising **optical fiber cable work**, around 20 to 25 men arrived at the site and physically assaulted him.
The **Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC)** had previously approved the accused’s **physical remand until August 30** under charges filed in accordance with the **Anti-Terrorism Act**.
With the withdrawal of the complaint, the police confirmed that the case has effectively been dropped.
