Kartarpur Gurdwara Reopened After Flood Cleanup on CM Maryam Nawaz’s Orders

Lahore:The **Kartarpur Gurdwara**, which was submerged under **10 to 12 feet of floodwater** due to what officials described as Indian water aggression, has now been completely cleaned and restored.
On the directives of **Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz**, teams from **Suthra Punjab** and other government departments worked day and night to drain water and clean the historic site. The **Janam Asthan, Darshan Deodi, and all other sections** of the gurdwara have been thoroughly restored.
**Deputy Commissioner Nankana Sahib** personally supervised the cleanup operations at Kartarpur. Following the completion of restoration, CM Maryam Nawaz has instructed that the gurdwara be reopened for **Sikh pilgrims within the next 3–4 days**.
Earlier, the entire Kartarpur area in **Narowal district** had been submerged, leaving the gurdwara under several feet of water after heavy flooding.
