PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Resigns from Four Key Standing Committees

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has resigned from four standing committees of the National Assembly.
According to Express News, Barrister Gohar submitted his resignation to the office of the National Assembly Speaker. He stepped down from the Standing Committees on Law and Justice, Human Rights, Information Technology, and the House Business Advisory Committee.
The move comes as PTI members, acting on the directive of the party’s founder, have begun resigning from all parliamentary committees. Today’s resignation is being viewed as the most significant so far, as several other PTI lawmakers had already vacated their committee memberships earlier.
