Mumbai: Indian actress Avneet Kaur has finally reacted after star cricketer Virat Kohli’s verified Instagram account was seen “liking” her bold pictures earlier this year, sparking a wave of social media chatter.
According to Indian media, the photos — posted on a fan page on April 30 — showed Avneet in a green top and mini skirt. In May, fans noticed a “like” from Kohli’s account, and the matter quickly went viral online.
Social media users flooded the comments with speculation, tagging Kohli’s wife, actress Anushka Sharma, while memes around the incident also circulated widely.
The buzz prompted Kohli to clarify through an Instagram story, saying: *“While clearing my Instagram feed, the algorithm may have accidentally registered a like. It was unintentional. I request everyone to avoid unnecessary assumptions.”*
