Notorious Wanted Criminal Amir Shah Killed in Shootout with Police in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: A most-wanted fugitive, Amir Shah, was killed during a shootout with the Counter Crime Department (CCD) team in the Taxila area of Rawalpindi. According to CCD sources, the incident occurred when officers attempted to stop suspicious individuals during a routine checkpoint. Upon being stopped, the suspects opened fire on the CCD team, leading to a retaliatory exchange of gunfire.
Amir Shah was critically injured in the shootout and later died while being transported to the hospital. His accomplices managed to flee the scene on a motorcycle, prompting an ongoing search operation in the area. Fortunately, no CCD personnel were harmed in the exchange.
Amir Shah was considered a dangerous criminal and was wanted in connection with 12 murder cases in Rawalpindi and Sargodha. Among his crimes, he had previously shot and killed an Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officer near Dina and was responsible for a triple homicide during Eid in the Dar Kali Syedan area of Jatli. He also murdered a woman along with her father and brother in the jurisdiction of Phalrawan Police Station, Sargodha.
The suspect was known for issuing threats to law enforcement officials, including CCD personnel, through social media platforms. His activities had posed a significant challenge to law enforcement agencies across the region.
