Body of Karachi Journalist Khawar Hussain Found in Sanghar; CM Sindh Orders Investigation

Sanghar:The body of **journalist Khawar Hussain**, associated with a private news channel in Karachi, was discovered inside a vehicle on **Hyderabad Road in Sanghar**, according to **SSP Abid Baloch**.

Initially, SSP Abid Baloch had stated that **Khawar Hussain allegedly committed suicide by gunfire**, but in a **latest statement**, he clarified that **no conclusive evidence of suicide has been found** so far. “We cannot confirm if it was a suicide at this stage. The exact cause of death will only be determined after the **post-mortem report**,” the SSP said.

Khawar Hussain, although professionally based in Karachi, belonged to **Sanghar**, where his **ancestral home** is located.

Meanwhile, the **Spokesperson for the Chief Minister of Sindh** has confirmed that **CM Sindh has taken notice** of the journalist’s **unnatural death** and has sought a **detailed report from the Inspector General of Police**.

The CM has directed that the **investigation be assigned to a competent police officer**, emphasizing the need to **determine the true cause** of Khawar Hussain’s death through thorough and transparent investigation.

The mysterious circumstances surrounding the journalist’s death have raised concerns within the media community, prompting demands for a fair and swift probe.
