Tragedy Strikes JUI-F Leader Mufti Kifayatullah’s Home: Son Opens Fire, Two Dead, Mufti Critically Injured

Malakand – A tragic incident unfolded in the Malakand district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where Mufti Kifayatullah, a senior leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), was critically injured after his own son opened fire inside their home.
According to media reports, the firing resulted in the death of Mufti Kifayatullah’s son, Asmatullah, and one of his daughters. Mufti Kifayatullah and another daughter sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. Hospital sources have described the cleric’s condition as critical.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
