Islamabad: The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has officially dismissed all complaints filed against Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja and two other Election Commission members, Nisar Ahmad Durrani and Shah Muhammad Jatoi.
According to a public statement released by the Council, three separate complaints — numbered 532/2021, 557/2022, and 563/2022 — were reviewed and subsequently dismissed during SJC meetings held on November 8 and December 13, 2024.
The statement clarified that after careful examination, the Council found no grounds for further action and decided to close all three cases.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was among the parties that submitted complaints to the Supreme Judicial Council against the Election Commission officials.
