Five Police Officers Martyred, Five Injured in Six Terrorist Attacks Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:In a coordinated wave of attacks, militants targeted police forces simultaneously in **Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Peshawar, and Bannu**, resulting in the martyrdom of **5 police personnel** and injuries to **5 others**.

According to police sources:

* Militants attacked a **police mobile in Upper Dir**, a **police post in Lower Dir**, **Hassan Khel police station** in Peshawar, and two other police posts using light and heavy weapons.
* Police successfully repelled these attacks.

In detail:

* At **Hassan Khel police station** in the outskirts of Peshawar, a prolonged gunfight took place between police and terrorists, leaving **one police officer dead and another injured**.
* In **Upper Dir**, militants targeted a police mobile, resulting in **3 officers killed and 3 wounded**.
* During an attack on a police post in **Lajbook, Lower Dir**, one police constable was martyred.
* Militants also attacked the **Mazang police post in Bannu**, but police counteraction forced the attackers to retreat.

**DPO Bannu, Saleem Abbas Kalachi**, praised the bravery of the police force, stating that officers stood firm and successfully repelled the attacks, forcing the militants to flee.
