Over 30,000 Illegal Afghan Nationals Repatriated from Quetta Division, Says Commissioner Shahzeb Khan Kakar

Quetta:A high-level meeting chaired by **Commissioner Quetta Division Shahzeb Khan Kakar** was held to review ongoing operations against **illegally residing Afghan nationals** in the region.

The meeting was attended by **Deputy Commissioner Quetta Captain (R) Mehrullah Badini**, **Assistant Commissioner Political Quetta Division Kaleemullah**, as well as officials from the **police, FIA, NADRA, Special Branch, PTA, Home Department**, and other relevant institutions. **Deputy Commissioners of Killa Abdullah and Pishin**, along with **SP Pishin**, joined the meeting online.

During the briefing, officials informed that **over 30,000 illegal Afghan nationals** have so far been repatriated through **joint operations** conducted by the **police, Frontier Corps (FC), and civil administration**.

Commissioner Kakar directed authorities to compile **comprehensive data** on all illegal migrants and those listed under the **Afghan Citizens Card (ACC)** for efficient and targeted action. He emphasized **daily operations**, collection of data related to **bank accounts and mobile SIMs** used by illegal residents, and the importance of involving **local elders and community leaders** to ensure peaceful implementation.

He stressed the need for all departments to coordinate and formulate an effective plan to **ensure the complete repatriation** of illegal foreign nationals. Special instructions were also issued to **treat women and children with care and dignity** during the operations.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to **intensify the crackdown** while maintaining law and order and upholding human rights.
