Raids in Rawalpindi Lead to Arrests of Human Organ Trafficking Ring Members

Rawalpindi: In a shocking turn of events, police in Rawalpindi arrested several individuals involved in the illegal transplantation and trafficking of human organs. The operation was launched after a man, identified by a pseudonym Muhammad Qadeer, was lured into a fake job offer.
Qadeer, a resident of a private housing society in Rawalpindi, was contacted and invited to a job interview in Bahria Town Phase 8. Upon arrival, he met with a group of individuals who offered him a drink, which turned out to be laced with narcotic substances. As a result, Qadeer lost consciousness and his health deteriorated. The criminals then transported him to a nearby hospital for medical tests, though he was still unaware of what was happening to him.
The following day, Qadeer was returned to the same housing society, bound to a stretcher. Meanwhile, Rawalpindi police, during a routine patrol, heard human voices emanating from a house where an ambulance and suspicious vehicles were parked. Upon investigating, police officers discovered Qadeer lying bound on a stretcher in poor health, while the house was set up like a medical facility.
Upon seeing the police, some suspects managed to escape, but one was arrested, and Qadeer was rescued, thus preventing him from becoming a victim of illegal organ trafficking.
In separate incidents, police also uncovered another illegal organ trade operation. Over the past week, two criminal gangs involved in the illegal sale and transplantation of human organs were raided across Rawalpindi. Investigators revealed that the gangs had been trafficking human organs to both domestic and international buyers.
A spokesperson for Rawalpindi police stated that the arrested suspect revealed that the house was used to illegally harvest and sell human organs. During a follow-up search, police recovered kidney extraction equipment, drugs, and other tools used for the illegal procedure.
The police acted swiftly when they received a tip-off about an individual who was about to have their kidney harvested after being drugged. When they arrived at the location, the victim was found bound to a stretcher and freed immediately.
The victim disclosed that he was lured with a job offer, given a narcotic drink, and subjected to medical tests in preparation for the illegal sale of his kidney. Authorities have confirmed that more arrests are imminent, as investigations continue.
Another similar case was reported in the Airport Police Station jurisdiction, where police, acting on a tip, arrived at a house and found a person tied to a stretcher. The victim was rescued, while two suspects were arrested. Investigations revealed that the house was also being used for illegal organ trafficking.
Police confirmed that both raids involved two distinct gangs, whose members were arrested, and their facilities were sealed. The authorities are continuing their efforts to apprehend other suspects, including two surgeons, their assistants, and four other individuals involved in the illicit trade.
