Lashkari Raisani Urges Political Resistance Against ‘Fake Legislation’ Enslaving Balochistan

QUETTA:Veteran politician and former Senator Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani has strongly criticized what he described as “fake legislation” designed to turn Balochistan’s subjugation into full-fledged slavery. He urged the people of Balochistan to unite in a serious and peaceful political resistance to safeguard their national dignity and political freedom.
Speaking to various delegations at Sarawan House on Tuesday, Raisani accused certain political parties of converting Balochistan into their personal estate by manipulating elections and passing oppressive laws that bind the people of the province into collective national slavery.
**Key Points from Lashkari Raisani’s Statement:**
1. **Condemnation of ‘Fake Political Forces’:**
Raisani claimed that so-called political parties, through flawed election processes, have undermined the province’s autonomy by enforcing illegitimate laws. “These groups have transformed Balochistan’s subjugation into slavery through legislation and deceitful politics,” he stated.
2. **Call for Peaceful Political Resistance:**
He warned that if the people fail to resist now through peaceful means, future generations will be left to suffer the consequences. “If we don’t resist today, our children will be left to wander the courts for decades, and they will not forgive us,” Raisani cautioned.
3. **Criticism of Assembly Members:**
Raisani labeled the current assembly members as “national culprits,” accusing them of betraying the people of Balochistan. “Those sitting in the assembly have committed injustice against the nation. They have sold out Balochistan to reach where they are,” he asserted. He added that truly transparent elections would ensure these individuals never return to power again.
4. **A Call to the People of Balochistan:**
“No savior will descend from the skies,” Raisani stressed. “The people of Balochistan themselves must take responsibility and seriously unite in a political struggle for their dignity and freedom.”
**Conclusion:**
Lashkari Raisani’s remarks serve as a rallying call for political awakening in Balochistan. His message is clear: only through collective action, unity, and resistance to illegitimate laws can the province reclaim its political autonomy and protect the rights of its people.
