GDA Director General Receives Briefing on Gwadar Smart Port City Master Plan

GWADAR:the Director General of the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA), Moheen-ur-Rehman Khan, was briefed by GDA’s Director of Town Planning, Shahid Ali, on the detailed aspects of the Gwadar Smart Port City Master Plan, micro-planning, land use, and private sector schemes.

During the briefing, the GDA Director General highlighted that the authority is working to ensure that the city’s development is in line with international standards, aiming to transform Gwadar into a modern, smart, and well-developed port city. He emphasized that Gwadar offers vast investment opportunities across various sectors, including trade, tourism, and real estate.

“The government is committed to providing investors with a peaceful, conducive, and profitable environment to encourage investment,” Moheen-ur-Rehman said. He also assured that full implementation of the master plan will be ensured, with the promotion of private sector partnerships being key to achieving the city’s sustainable development.

The initiative to modernize and expand Gwadar aims to establish the city as a regional hub for trade, tourism, and industry, further boosting the overall economy of the region.
