Rawalpindi Woman’s Murder Mystery Unfolds: Jirga Leader Orders Killing and Performs Funeral

Rawalpindi: A shocking twist has emerged in the case of a woman’s murder in the Pir Wadhai area of Rawalpindi. According to police sources, the decision to murder the woman was made by Jirga leader Ismatullah, who also performed her funeral prayer at his home.
As reported by Geo News, police authorities revealed that Ismatullah played a prominent role in the illegal tribal meeting, or Jirga, held between July 11 and 16, where the killing was planned. Additionally, a video surfaced showing Ismatullah engaging in celebratory gunfire in a market, further implicating him in the crime.
Ismatullah Khan, the head of the Jirga, has been arrested by police. As of now, eight people have been apprehended in connection with the woman’s murder. The deceased woman’s second husband, Usman, turned himself in to the police the previous night.
Usman’s father, Mohammad Ilyas, claimed that the woman’s family had taken her to her new home under the pretense of a wedding, only for the family to receive the tragic news two days later that she had been killed.
