Balochistan Awami Party Leaders Demand Investigation Against Former DHO of Kalat for Violation of Merit

Kalat: Leaders of the Balochistan Awami Party in the Kalat district have expressed strong concerns about the actions of the former District Health Officer (DHO) of Kalat. They claimed that the former DHO violated merit and hired over 30 individuals on a contractual basis in the Kalat Health Department, based on personal preferences, political affiliations, and nepotism. This has caused significant disappointment among the party leaders, workers, and the public in the area.
The party leaders stated that the former DHO appointed his relatives and political associates to positions in the health department, including dispensers, X-ray technicians, OT assistants, dental technicians, and others. As a result, there has been widespread discontent and resentment among the people of Kalat and Khaliqabad.
They added that the former DHO’s actions deprived deserving individuals of their rightful opportunities, particularly affecting the youth, who are highly dissatisfied and upset.
The Balochistan Awami Party leaders have appealed to Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sardar Usman Bugti, Provincial Minister of Health Bakht Muhammad Kakar, and the Chief Secretary of Balochistan to establish an investigative committee to probe the matter. They stressed the need for an inquiry to ensure that deserving candidates receive their rightful opportunities.
