Balochistan Youth Policy: A Landmark Step Towards Empowering the Province’s Youth

Quetta:The Balochistan Youth Policy marks an important milestone for the youth of the province, paving the way for their development and prosperity. As the largest province in the country, it is the collective responsibility of the government and educational institutions to guide the youth towards success. This policy is seen as a significant tool for directing young people in Balochistan towards brighter futures.

Addressing a gathering organized by the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF), Vice Chancellor of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering, and Management Sciences (BUITMS), Professor Dr. Khalid Hafeez, stated that the Youth Policy introduced by Nawabzada Jamal Raisani in the National Assembly has already begun to empower the youth of Balochistan, enhancing their political skills and abilities. Dr. Hafeez praised the leadership of the YPF under the guidance of Ms. Nosheen Iftikhar and Nawabzada Jamal Raisani, mentioning that the policy would strengthen the relationship between the youth and the government, fostering greater alignment. The youth will not only benefit from this policy but will also play a pivotal role in its successful implementation, he added.

The event was attended by prominent parliamentarians including Ms. Nosheen Iftikhar (Chairperson of YPF), Nawabzada Jamal Raisani (General Secretary), along with members of the National Assembly: Muhammad Saadullah, Muhammad Muqaddar Ali Khan, Raja Osama Sarwar, Ms. Akhtar Bibi, Ms. Shaista Khan, Muhammad Usman Badini, and Raja Muhammad Ali.

Dr. Hafeez expressed his gratitude to the YPF delegation for their visit to BUITMS and highlighted the importance of student participation in policy-making processes. He emphasized that involving youth in shaping policies would bridge the gap between the younger generation and the government.

The Vice Chancellor further directed BUITMS teachers and officials to conduct awareness campaigns and special sessions to educate both faculty and students about the Balochistan Youth Policy and its implementation.
