Baloch Scholar Banul Baloch Completes PhD in Balochi Language and Literature at University of Balochistan

Quetta, Pakistan:Banul Baloch, a distinguished scholar from the Balochistan Study Center at the University of Balochistan, has successfully completed her PhD in Balochi Language and Literature. Hailing from Turbat, Banul’s groundbreaking research has provided a fresh critical perspective by connecting Balochi folk poetry with the folk traditions of other languages in Pakistan.

Her doctoral thesis, titled *”A Stylistic and Thematic Comparison of Balochi Folk Poetry and Selected Folk Poetries of Pakistani Languages,”* has been highly praised within academic circles for its depth and originality. During her defense, a panel of experts, including Professor Dr. Ghulam Farooq, Dr. Najia Israr Zaidi, Dr. Abdul Shakur Zahid, and Dr. Suraiya Bano, evaluated her work.
