Motorcycle Prices Surge After Budget 2025-26: Yamaha and Unique Lead the Hike

Islamabad: Following the introduction of new taxes and the New Energy Vehicle Levy in the Federal Budget 2025-26, motorcycle prices in Pakistan have once again surged. Yamaha and Unique have initiated the latest round of price hikes, which came into effect from July 1, 2025.
Yamaha Motor Pakistan has revised the prices of all its models.
The YB125Z (Red/Black) is now priced at Rs. 429,000, which includes Rs. 65,441 in sales tax and a New Energy Levy of Rs. 4,057.
The YB125Z DX (Red/Black/Grey) is now available for Rs. 459,500.
The YBR125 (Red/Grey/Black) is being sold for Rs. 471,500,
while the YBR125G (Black) is priced at Rs. 490,500.
The matte finish version of YBR125G is now Yamaha’s most expensive model at Rs. 493,500.
Unique Motorcycles also announced a price hike of Rs. 3,000 across its UD-70cc lineup, effective from July 18, 2025.
The base model now costs Rs. 121,500,
Extreme Plus is priced at Rs. 125,000,
Special Edition at Rs. 128,500,
Extreme Plus with alloy rims at Rs. 135,000,
and the Self-Start model has reached Rs. 147,000.
This latest increase by Yamaha and Unique comes on the heels of similar price hikes from Atlas Honda and Pak Suzuki, further straining affordability for the average consumer in Pakistan.
