Pakistan Army Conducts Helicopter Rescue Operation Amid Flash Floods After Torrential Rains

Rawalpindi: Heavy and torrential rains across the twin cities and other parts of the country have triggered flash floods, turning local streams and rivers into raging torrents. In response, the Pakistan Army has once again stepped in to assist flood victims, launching urgent rescue operations.
A viral video circulating on social media shows the Pakistan Army conducting a helicopter rescue mission in Chakri Road’s Ladian area, where a family had taken refuge on the roof of their house surrounded by floodwaters. Despite challenging weather conditions, the army’s helicopter successfully evacuated the stranded individuals.
As the rescue mission concluded, locals applauded the Pakistan Army’s efforts, chanting slogans of “Pak Fauj Zindabad” (Long live the Pakistan Army) and expressing gratitude for their timely intervention.
The operation highlights the army’s swift and dedicated response in times of national emergencies, as they continue to play a crucial role in saving lives and supporting disaster-hit communities.
