Imran Khan Expresses Anger Over Infighting Within PTI, Urges Unity Ahead of Protest Movement

Lahore:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder **Imran Khan** has expressed deep frustration and anger over the ongoing public infighting among senior party leaders. The remarks came during a meeting on Tuesday with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Information Adviser **Barrister Saif** at Kot Lakhpat Jail.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Barrister Saif revealed that Imran Khan was **deeply upset over the exchange of public statements** between PTI leaders, particularly on social media. He said the former prime minister has issued **strict instructions to all party leaders to immediately stop targeting each other** and to remain united for the party’s planned protest movement.

“Imran Khan has clearly ordered all PTI leaders to avoid internal criticism and focus on unity. No leader should run social media campaigns or make statements against fellow members,” Barrister Saif emphasized.

He added that Imran Khan has also given **firm directives to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and other top officials** regarding preparations for the upcoming protest campaign, expected to begin in early August.

Highlighting Khan’s personal conditions, Barrister Saif said that the PTI founder is **being held in solitary confinement** and is being **denied basic necessities**, including access to **TV, newspapers, books, and even clothing**. He also claimed that **Bushra Bibi**, Imran Khan’s wife, is being subjected to similar mistreatment.

The development comes amid growing internal rifts within PTI, particularly over the timeline and structure of the planned protest movement, with conflicting statements from key figures such as Ali Amin Gandapur and Salman Akram Raja.

Khan’s latest message appears aimed at **re-establishing discipline and unity** in the party ranks ahead of what could be a crucial phase in the party’s political struggle.
