PTI Leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid Hospitalized in Lahore Due to Health Complications

Lahore:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader **Dr. Yasmin Rashid** was shifted from **Kot Lakhpat Jail** to **Services Hospital** on Tuesday after her health condition deteriorated.

According to her lawyer **Rana Muddasir**, Dr. Rashid was experiencing **difficulty in breathing**, along with **abdominal and gastric pain**, prompting an urgent medical evaluation. He confirmed that several medical tests were conducted at the hospital to assess her condition.

Hospital sources stated that Dr. Rashid was brought in with **shortness of breath**, **high blood pressure**, **increased heart rate**, and **burning sensations in the stomach**. Doctors are monitoring her closely but have confirmed that **her condition is stable and not life-threatening**.

Dr. Yasmin Rashid, a seasoned politician and former provincial minister, has been in jail in connection with multiple cases since the May 9 incidents. Her legal team has raised concerns over her health in custody multiple times in the past.

Hospital officials are continuing her treatment and observation, while PTI leaders and supporters have expressed concern and called for proper medical care.
