Spike in Fire Incidents in Quetta: Blaze Erupts in Shabnam Market Shop and Airport Road Warehouse

Quetta: The city of Quetta has seen a worrying rise in fire incidents, with two separate blazes reported over the weekend—one in a shop at Shabnam Market and another in a warehouse near the airport.
According to details, a fire broke out late Saturday night in a clothing shop located on Masjid Road in Shabnam Market. Upon receiving the alert, six fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene and successfully contained the blaze, preventing it from spreading to nearby shops.
In a separate incident on Sunday, a warehouse located on Airport Road caught fire, which quickly engulfed the entire facility. Firefighters arrived promptly and managed to extinguish the flames before they could reach adjacent warehouses.
Authorities are investigating the causes of the fires, as the city experiences an unusual surge in such incidents.
