Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari Invites Ali Amin Gandapur to Learn from Punjab’s Development

Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has extended an open invitation to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, urging him to visit Punjab and observe the province’s development firsthand—provided he comes without weapons.
Responding to recent statements by PTI leaders, Bukhari said, “Ali Amin Gandapur has asked for 90 days to prove himself. Political matters are resolved through dialogue, and political leaders must talk to each other—not through force.”
She emphasized that while Punjab welcomes Gandapur as a guest, it will not tolerate aggression. “If he visits as a Chief Minister, we will show him hospitality. But if he comes armed, there will be no permission. He has already witnessed our hospitality,” she remarked.
In a statement issued from Lahore, Bukhari warned that any attempts to provoke unrest will be dealt with. “If he acts like a terrorist, we have a cure for that,” she stated. She also criticized PTI’s mixed messaging: “On one hand, they talk about negotiating with the establishment, and on the other, they engage in disgraceful behavior when the Army Chief is abroad.”
Taking a jab at PTI’s protest politics, Bukhari said, “Their idea of dialogue seems to involve setting prices for flour and sugar. But in the end, political parties must speak to each other—not the military.” She added, “The Army Chief is invited by leaders like Donald Trump. PTI’s obsession with the military is hypocritical.”
She accused PTI of spreading fake videos and creating an atmosphere of fear through social media. “Their propaganda machinery tries to paint themselves as victims while they are the real instigators of chaos,” she said. “They wrote letters to the IMF and plotted to turn Pakistan into another Sri Lanka. No other party in our history has been more fascist or disruptive.”
Uzma Bukhari also criticized PTI leaders over corruption scandals, highlighting the Al-Qadir University case and calling out Bushra Bibi. “She is the only woman in the country who demands five-carat diamonds,” Bukhari claimed. “When Imran Khan’s TV or meat supply is cut off, they scream injustice.”
Addressing PTI’s dwindling public support, she noted, “When Gandapur came to Kahna, he couldn’t even gather a thousand people. Their so-called movement is a flop.”
Bukhari concluded by criticizing Gandapur’s behavior and warning against further provocation. “He is not a peaceful man—his record speaks for itself. Has anyone ever seen a Chief Minister carrying a Kalashnikov? They want dead bodies in the streets to play their dirty political games,” she stated.
