Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan to Launch Long March Towards Islamabad on July 25 for Provincial Rights

Quetta, Pakistan:Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan’s leader and Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA), **Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch**, has announced a **historic long march to Islamabad** on **July 25** in pursuit of the province’s rights, peace, and development. The announcement was made during a key preparatory meeting of party officials and committee heads.

Addressing the meeting, Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman said that the long march will be **peaceful yet powerful**, aimed at compelling the **Islamabad rulers to change their attitude** and acknowledge the rights of the Baloch people. He declared that **lawlessness, corruption, enforced disappearances, and military excesses in Balochistan** have become intolerable.

He stated, “The people who have turned Balochistan into a desert have been imposed upon us. Our youth are missing, and mutilated bodies are surfacing. We don’t want guns and checkpoints—we want schools and teachers. The policies of bullets and abuse will no longer be tolerated.”

Key Jamaat-e-Islami leaders including provincial vice president **Zahid Akhtar Baloch**, general secretary **Murtaza Khan Kakar**, **Bashir Ahmad Mandai**, **Maulana Arif Damdar**, and others attended the meeting. Committee heads presented updates on **organizational, financial, and media preparations** for the march.

Maulana Hidayat reaffirmed that **the struggle will continue** until the people of Balochistan receive their due rights and the province is freed from lawlessness, insecurity, and exploitation. He expressed confidence that the **youth and public** stand firmly with Jamaat-e-Islami and called the party a “**ray of hope**” for the oppressed in Balochistan.

He concluded by saying, *“Insha’Allah, Jamaat-e-Islami will ensure that the people of Balochistan get justice, dignity, and their constitutional rights.”*
