Nation Proud of Security Forces: President and PM Laud Foiling of “Fitna-e-Hindustan” Plot

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi have lauded the successful operation by Pakistan’s security forces in foiling a major terrorist infiltration attempt in North Waziristan, reportedly supported by Indian elements. The national leadership praised the military’s bravery and reaffirmed the country’s unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism.
President Zardari commended the armed forces for eliminating 30 foreign-backed terrorists from the extremist group “Fitna-e-Khawarij” during an intelligence-based operation in the Hassan Khel area near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. “Pakistan’s security forces have once again proven their mettle by crushing foreign-backed terror elements. The operations will continue until the complete eradication of terrorism,” the President said, adding that the nation’s determination remains unshaken.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the security forces, emphasizing that the Pakistani military stands as a solid wall against all threats. “The people of Pakistan salute their armed forces. The valiant effort to neutralize 30 terrorists during an attempted cross-border infiltration is a source of pride for the entire nation,” the PM said. He reiterated the government’s commitment to completely eliminating terrorism from the country.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi echoed similar sentiments, strongly praising the swift and effective action by Pakistan’s security forces. “The terrorists of Fitna-e-Hindustan met their grim fate, and this marks a major success in our ongoing battle against terrorism,” Naqvi said. He added that those backing such elements will face severe consequences. “The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces, proud of their professionalism and courage.”
The government leaders emphasized that the nation remains united and steadfast in its support of the military’s operations, committed to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and peace.
