KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur Says Governor Has No Authority to Overthrow His Government

Peshawar: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has stated that the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa does not have the authority to overthrow his government.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, the Chief Minister dismissed any claims regarding the Governor’s influence over his administration. He further commented that Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, would not even be able to win a councilor’s election.
On the issue of the Swaat incident, CM Gandapur mentioned that an inquiry is underway. He assured that action would be taken against those found negligent, and those responsible for the tragedy would be punished. Additionally, he promised the removal of river construction projects that were linked to the incident.
In a separate development, the Peshawar High Court extended the protective bail for Ali Amin Gandapur, instructing authorities not to arrest him in any case.
