Governor Balochistan Emphasizes Integrity and Professionalism Among Civil Servants

Quetta: The Governor of Balochistan, Jaafar Khan Mandokhail, emphasized the importance of maintaining dignity and resisting unnecessary pressure while performing duties. Speaking to a delegation of 25 officers undergoing the Mid-Career Management Course at the Balochistan Civil Services Academy, led by Director General Dr. Hafeez Ahmed Jamali, he stated that competent and honest public servants continue to be highly valued by both their departments and the public.
Governor Mandokhail highlighted that effective governance is reliant on a high standard of bureaucracy. He praised the inclusion of administrative duties, etiquette, dressing standards, and public dealings in the training curriculum. According to him, these training programs will have a positive impact on the personal and professional lives of the officers involved.
He further added that bureaucrats must play a pivotal role in eliminating favoritism and nepotism from society. Officers, by becoming the voice of the silent majority, hold significant responsibilities in alleviating the struggles faced by the public. He urged the officers to use their professional skills to ease the difficulties of the people.
At the end of the meeting, the Balochistan Civil Services Academy presented a commemorative shield to the Governor as a token of appreciation for his remarks. Principal Secretary to the Governor, Hashim Khan Gulzai, Muhammad Sohail, and Zulfiqar Ali were also present during the event.
